Independent production house

The house where stories are born.

Independent production. Original stories. Built from the spark of an idea.

What we nurture

Every kind of story, cared for from spark to finish.

Some stories arrive fully formed. Most arrive as a feeling, a character, a single scene. We give them room to grow, then the structure to become something real.

  • Short stories
  • Novels
  • Children's books
  • Films

About

A home for the stories that won't leave you alone.

"Ina" means fire in Yoruba.

Every story starts with a spark: the idea you can't stop thinking about, the one that keeps pulling you back and won't leave you alone. Ina House was built to give those stories a home. We are an independent production house that develops original stories and helps other people's projects get made well. We take the spark seriously, then do the unglamorous work that turns it into a finished film, series, or book.

Multiple kinds of work, one elevated standard.

Our own original stories, and the productions we run for directors, brands, and nonprofits. Both get the same care.

Founder

Peju Aliyu

Founder of Ina House.

Headshot of Peju Aliyu, founder of Ina House, wearing glasses and a black top

Peju Aliyu started Ina House to give the stories she couldn't get out of her head a home, and to build a place where she and other creatives feel safe letting everything out, taking an idea or a dream all the way to reality.

"Ina" means fire in Yoruba. For Peju, it stands for both the creative spark and the determination it takes to finish what you start. Ina House is where she develops original ideas, collaborates with other creatives, and forges those ideas into something extraordinary.

Her favorite part of the process is the moment an idea sparks, then pulling on its threads and deciding which one to keep following.

Among the work she's proudest of is a public health series she helped produce with the CDC and the National Indian Health Board, which received a Bronze Telly Award. It brought together storytelling, education, and the responsibility of representing real people's experiences with care.
